IGP Kashmir, SSP Srinagar Says To Facilitate Essential Services Including Media Persons During Lockdown

Srinagar 29 April (KNB): Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar Sandeep Chaudhary on Thursday said that to facilitate hassle-free movement for essential services including media persons during the imposition of lockdown, which starts from 7 pm today.   

SSP in his tweet said that “We’ll try our best to facilitate hassle-free movement for doctors, nurses, health workers, sanitation workers, media persons and government employees during the Corona Curfew coming in force w.e.f. 7 PM today to 7 AM 03/05/2021. 

He further said that to please cooperate with police during this period.

In the meantime Kashmir Zone Police also said that to ensure emergency services would go hassle free during lockdown and quoted IGP Kashmir saying that “During the LockdownPeriod, all the Police Units have been directed to “facilitate hassle free “Movement of Doctors, Health Workers and Essential Services. For any assistance Dial-112.” 

They further said that to facilitate hassle free “Movement of Journalists – both Print and Electronic. Journalists are requested to carry Identity Cards.” (KNB)
