Srinagar 19 April (KNB): As the cases of Covid are rising in the J&K day by day, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Aijaz Asad on Monday said that no plans for imposing lockdown in Srinagar as of now.
Deputy Commissioner Aijaz Asad told reporters today that till now there is not any order for the imposing of lockdown. He further said that appropriate steps would be taken if any order regarding the imposing of lockdown is taken.
Regarding the oxygen supply and availability of beds, DC Srinagar said that the beds are available and there is no shortage of oxygen supply currently.
He further said that an adequate number of beds are available at Covid designated centres and also said the government is in process of putting up oxygen plants, which would get functional soon. (KNB)
