Srinagar 1 April (KNB): A Jammu and Kashmir police officer was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Jammu’s Kathua, resulting in injuries on his body.
According to officials, the JK policeman, identified as Sub Inspector Vikas Sharma, was hit by an unknown vehicle when he was on his usual duty to check the vehicles at the post in the evening time.
However, the officer was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
In a similar accident, a traffic policeman was killed on March 18 when a speedy truck hit when he was performing his duty in Qazigund. (KNB)
