Illegal Timber Seized in Budgam, Accused On The Run: Police 

Srinagar 31 March (KNB): Police seized illegal timber from a house in Magam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said on Wednesday. 

Police officials said that Police station Magam Budgam along with officials of the Forest Protection Force seized a huge dump of illegal timber from the  house of Fayaz Ahmad Rather S/o Gulam Mohammad Rather R/o Mazhama Magam.

Police said that the seized timber comprises 124 logs measuring 161.58 Cft.

They added that the accused in the instant case is absconding and will be traced out and arrested soon.

However, they further said that the investigation has been taken up into the matter and also case FIR No. 41 /2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Magam. (KNB)
