Srinagar 22 November (KNB): A militant among two, were held during a search operation in Chatpura village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, army said.
In a statement issued by an army spokesman said, that a joint operation was launched late last evening, based on intelligence inputs about the presence of one person, having militant links.
Officials said, “Cordon was established and (the) person was apprehended,” he said.
During interrogation the arrested person, resident of Handwara, revealed details about the presence of a militant in a nearby Madrassa, army stated.
Spokesperson stated that during further search operation, a militant(name withheld) was apprehended and that the joint operation has ended. (KNB)
