Srinagar 14 September (KNB): Seventy four Junior Scale Officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), 2019 batch have been transferred and posted as Block Development Officers of different areas of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
With transfer and posting of 74 JKAS of batch 2019, the transfer of BDOs/I/C BDOs has also been made thereof, as per an order copy lying with Kashmir News Bureau.
The order copy reads that consequent upon placement of services of the seventy four (74) Junior Scale KAS Officers of 2019 batch at the disposal of the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj by the General Administration Department vide Government Order No. 806-JK (GAD) of 2021 Dated: 31.08.2021, for their further adjustment/posting as the Block Development Officers, the following transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect.
Gouravdeep Kour, JKAS, is transferred and posted as BDO Block Kandi Rafiabad, Baramulla. However, the officer shall take charge of the said Block after her return from the maternity leave.
Sandeep Singh, JKAS, is transferred and posted as BDO Batote, Ramban against an available vacancy with additional charge of Block Rajgarh, Ramban in addition to his own duties.
