Anantnag, Jan31(KNB):Five civilians and a CRPF trooper was injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a CRPF deployment near Sherbagh Anantnag on Thursday.
As per the reports ,the grenade was hurled at the CRPF deployment, but it missed the target.
The injured were taken to district hospital Anantnag for treatment.
The injured have been identified as CRPF trooper of 96 Bn Narender Kumar, Sahiba Nabi, Rehana Akhter, Nazia, Sofia Jan, all residents of Anchidoora, Annatnag and Irfan Ahmed Dar of Lal Chowk, Anantnag.(KNB)
