Anantnag 5 November (KNB): A farewell cum certificate distribution ceremony was conducted at Kashgar Public Charitable trust Kehribal Mattan Anantnag in which 60 girl students who got trained in Self Employed Tailoring under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana were felicitated with certificates.
Girls belonging villages Kehribal, wantrag, Shilpora, Rampora, tooru, Rainipora were given free training under ministry of Skill development.
Officials stated that only due to able and efficient coordination by Jammu & Kashmir Skill Development Corporation it became possible to train and guide these students.
Nodal officer & Principal ITI Anantnag Muzaffar Ahmad Shah was present at the event.
While speaking on the occasion he said, “It is not only important but mandatory nowadays to make a girl child financially and physically independent”.
I wish these children’s a successful and blessed carrier ahead, he said.
Officials stated that Kashgar Public Charitable Trust Kehribal Mattan Anantnag has been working since long in training students from far-flung areas and creating job opportunities for them, besides supporting them monetarily. (KNB)
