5.1 Magnitude of Earthquake Jolts J&K

Srinagar 11 January (KNB): An earthquake hit Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra on Monday at 7:32 pm with the magnitude of 5.1 as per the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

According to NCS, the earthquake’s epicentre was north-east of Katra, and a depth of the quake was 5 Km from the earth’s surface. 

However, no report of damage or casualty was reported from anywhere so far. (KNB)
