Srinagar 20 October (KNB): Two unidentified militants have been killed by security forces in the encounter in Dragad area of South Kashmir’s Shopian on Wednesday, as per Police.
The police said it after almost an hour of the starting of the encounter in the Shopian’s Dragad area that the forces have killed two unidentified militants.
They further added that the searches are going on in the area after the two holed up militants were killed in the gunfight.
However, the identities and the affiliation of the slain militants are yet to be known.
It was earlier said that the encounter started after a cordon and search operation was carried out in the area of Dragad by a joint team of Police, CRPF and Army following the inputs about the presence of militants. (KNB)
