Jammu 26 November (KNB): A woman constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police has achieved third position in a webinar organised by NHRC New Delhi, in which representatives of all state police of India participated.
A statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that the webinar titled “All India Police Forces Debate Competition on Human Rights” was aimed to educate the people in general and law enforcement agencies in particular about the different aspects of Human rights.
Inspector Raj Kumar and Woman Constable Sayida Akhter of Jammu and Kashmir Police were nominated for the competition.
Further during the event, Sayida Akther spoke on the topic “Police as protectors of law have both a professional duty and a moral obligation to uphold the human rights of individuals”.
She was appreciated and at third position in the webinar, was awarded with a cash prize, trophy and a certificate. (KNB)
