Doda 2 Jan(KNB): A Village Defence Guard (VDG) member from Dewal Kund in Dessa, Doda district, fired warning shots on Friday after noticing suspicious movement near his village, officials said.
According to sources, the VDG member observed unusual activity in the area late in the evening and discharged three to four rounds from his service-issued SLR as a precaution.
No injuries or casualties were reported. Security forces were promptly informed, and the area remains under observation.(KNB)
