New Delhi, November 13(KMB) – In a major boost to India’s rail network, the highly-anticipated Vande Bharat train is set to launch operations between New Delhi and Srinagar from January 2025, reducing travel time between the two cities to under 13 hours.
According to railway officials, the state-of-the-art train will cover a distance of 800 kilometers, departing from New Delhi at 7 PM and arriving in Srinagar by 8 AM. The train will make convenient stops at major stations, including Ambala, Ludhiana, Jammu, and Katra.
