Srinagar, October 18 (KNB): Two non-local labourers were dead after suspected militants lobbed grenade on them at their rented accommodation on Tuesday in Hermain area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A senior police told KNB that 2 non local labourers identified as Munish Kumar and Ram Sagar were attacked by militants as they were asleep at their rented accommodation, Both of them belonged from Kanoji UP.
They were shifted to district hospital Shopain, where both of them were declared brought dead, the officer added.
“Terrorists lobbed hand grenade in Harmen #Shopian in which two labourers from UP namely Monish Kumar & Ram Sagar, both residents of Kanooj, UP got injured. They were shifted to hospital where they succumbed. Area cordoned off, said Kashmir Police Zone in a tweet
Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(KNB)
