Tral, March 05(KNB): Two militants were killed in an encounter that broke out between the militants and the government forces in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
As per the reports, the gunfight established between militants and government forces last night while the operation was suspended due to darkness but was resumed at the crack of dawn today.
Meanwhile, Two militants were killed in Mir Mohalla after forces blasted the house and razed it to the ground today morning.
A civilian, identified as Farooq Ahmad (45) was also injured during the gunfight and was rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
Pertinently, the two bodies of slain militants along with two AK-47 rifles have been recovered.
The search operation was still on as per the last reports.(KNB)
