Budgam 17 Jan(KNB): Two militants were killed in an brief encounter near court complex of central Kashmir’s Budgam District on Tuesday morning, officials said.
According to official, on a specific input, Police and Army tried to stop suspected vehicle, the militants fired upon the security which was retaliated and two militants were killed.
He said, arms and ammunition were also recovered.
Both the killed militants were identified as Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama linked with the proscribed militant outfit LeT. Both the militants earlier escaped from recent encounter said ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar(KNB)
