Two Kashmiris Arrested in Arunachal Pradesh for Alleged Espionage for Pakistan

Itanagar, Dec 11(KNB): Arunachal Pradesh Police have arrested two men from Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly spying on behalf of Pakistan-based handlers.

The accused, identified as Nazir Ahmad Malik and Sabir Ahmed Mir, both residents of Kupwara district, were apprehended in separate operations from Ganga Village and Abotani Colony in Itanagar.

Police said the duo had been monitoring and recording Army movement and sensitive locations in different parts of the state. The gathered information was allegedly sent to Pakistan through a Telegram channel.

Officials said that a detailed probe is underway to assess the volume of intelligence shared and to trace any other individuals or networks linked to the case.(KNB)
