Srinagar, Jan 18(KNB): Twin grenade attacks took place in Srinagar and Shopian district on Friday.
Suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF party near Ghanta Ghar in Lal chowk area of Srinagar while in another incident ,grenade was hurled at a police camp in Gagran village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
However, there was no loss of any life or injuries.
Earlier, An assistant sub-inspector of police and two traffic cops were injured in a grenade attack near Zero Bridge area of Srinagar on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility of the grenade attacks in Srinagar and Shopian on Friday.(KNB)
