Srinagar 01 June (May): The Meteorological department on Tuesday said that there is a possibility of rain accompanied with thunder over different parts of Kashmir during the next one hour.
The MeT in its latest update said that Kupwara and Handwara are expected to receive hailstorms. It further said that Bandipora, Central Kashmir Ganderbal’s Kangan, Eastern parts of Srinagar and Pahalgam are going to receive thundershowers during the next hour from now.
The weather forecaster said that “thundershower most likely over Kupwara (Hailstorm), Handwara (Hailstorm), Bandipora, Kangan area of Ganderbal district, eastern parts of Srinagar and Pahalgam during next 1 hour from now.”
However, it was further said in its another update that “Thundershower shower with Hailstorm most likely over Baramulla, Gulmarg, Tangmarg, Ganderbal and Shopian during next 1 hour from now” (KNB)
