Thunderbolt Akbar Lone now raises ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans

Srinagar, Feb 10 (KNB): Continuing his thunderbolt language inside the state assembly, the outspoken MLA Sonawari Mohammad Akbar Lone on Saturday surprised the nation by raising “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans, in response to the “Pakistan Murdabad” slogans by ruling party BJP members.
“I am a Muslim first. My sentiments were hurt when they (BJP MLAs) were shouting “Pakistan Murdabad” slogans.
I couldn’t control my emotions and raised Pakistan Zindabad slogans,” Lone told the reporters.
Lone is known for his outspoken attitude. He has reportedly used ‘unethical’ language against PDP MLA Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari when he served as speaker of Kashmir’sassembly. Previously also he has accused PDP president and the opposition leader Mehbooba Mufti of indulging in cheap politics. As a speaker Lone had also reportedly attacked the then Deputy Speaker Sartaj Madni, asking him to resign and become spokesperson of PDP.
Akbar Lone is also known for his negative attitude toward the media. On 27 February 2012, Lone made a controversial statement saying that media is under his control inside the J&K assembly. 
On Wednesday Lone in series of strong revelations unearthed that senior faces of PDP BJP government including speaker and Deputy CM are bank defaulters of Jammu and Kashmir bank with handsome amount of liabilities on their account.
Meanwhile, NC spokesman in a tweet has said that, “Akbar Lone has spoken out of turn and his slogans in the Legislative Assembly are completely unacceptable to the party.” (KNB)
