Srinagar, May 25 (KNB): 3-4 masked persons barged into the house of Muhammad Yaqoob Wagay at Gunda Prang Hajin and slit his throat resulting in his on spot death.
Wagay was a butcher by profession, according to Hajin Police some three to four unknown gunmen barged the house of Yaqoob Wagay son of Ghulam Muhammad Wagay and abducted him at Gunda Preng village in Hajin, adding, police party after informed by family reached the spot and recovered the throat slit body at a site close to Yaqoob’s house.
“Wagay was brutally killed by the terrorists nearby his home at Gunda Preng village in Hajin area of Bandipora District.Investigation indicates complicity of banned LeT terror outfit involving Saleem Parrey a local LeT militant involved in this killing,” reads a police statement.
A case has been registered in this regard.
