Three teenagers go missing in North Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 13 (KNB): ‘Partners in Crime,’ three teenager friends from Kalaroose in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district had gone missing since Friday, 10th of August from their respective homes. The police has identified the boys as Waseem Ahmad Ganaie, Akhdas Ahmad Ganaie and Mohammad Iqbal Ganaie.




“They left for school on August 10 but didn’t return home. The school authorities said the trio didn’t attend school on that day,” said a family member of one of the boys. The family members of the teen, missing since Friday, said they used to be partners in every doing.

Reportedly the boys asked for Rs 900 which they needed to deposit as golden test fee at the school. Missing reports of the boys have been lodged at Kalaroose police station by their families.

“We appeal to the authorities to speed up the investigation to locate the missing boys,” said another family member. While one of them studies in 10th standard, other two are students of ninth grade in the same school.

“We have received an application regarding missing of three teenagers in Kalaroose,” Station House Officer Kalaroose Police Station Bashir Ahmad told Greater Kashmir. (KNB)
