Kupwara 26 March (KNB): Three shops and around three rooms were gutted in a massive fire incident at Kalaroos area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Officials said that a fierce fire broke out during the morning hours in Kalaroos which engulfed the top stories of two building in the area.
Despite fire and emergency teams trying their best to douse the flames, three shops dealing with garments and three rooms accommodating the office of Sheep Husbandry Department were completely destroyed in the incident, officials added.
Furthermore, officials said that the cause of fire was not known but a case has been registered in the concerned police station and investigation in this regard has been initiated. (KNB)
