Kupwara, March 12(KNB): A severe snow storm left three persons killed near Khoni Nallah in Sadhna Top area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
As per the reports, six persons were moving by foot from Kupwara to Karnah when the blizzard hit the area that left three persons killed while other three managed to escape.
Meanwhile, an army party reached near Khoni Nallah and found the three persons lying dead on the road at around 3 AM.
The road from Kupwara to Karnah has been closed for traffic movement due to bad weather.
The deceased were identified as Tahir Khoja son of Youns Khoja resident of Hajinard Karnah, Khaliq Shiekh son of Qadir Shiekh resident of Hajinard of Karnah, Fareed Ahmad son of Lal-din resident Shamspora of Karnah.(KNB)
