Kupwara, Feb 04(KNB):Former IAS officer Shah Faesal today addressed his first public meeting at TRC Kupwara ,where he was accorded a rousing welcome by local residents of the Kupwara and adjoining areas.
It was his first public rally in Kupwara after joining the politics while a large gathering of people were present there and raised slogans on his arrival as “Sher aya, Sher aya”.
In his speech, Faesal talked about the conflict in valley, his joining of politics and support of public and promised that he will stand for common masses.
While interacting with the people, Faesal said, “Kashmir is suffering from last 70 years, it is a political issue both the countries need to talk on this serious issue till it is not solved peacefully, there seems no end to the unabated killings that include young children. The issue cannot be solved through economic packages, they should focus on this issue. Our valley’s future is on stake, we can’t keep calm, I will stand for you and I got full support from you people and from all over the world.”
He further added ” I have joined politics to free the valley from corruption and impure elements and with your support we could make our valley free of corruption and start a new chapter of progressive state of jammu and Kashmir,,
Tariq Ahmad Banday, a local while talking to KNB said ,, Shah Faisal is educated personality, and we hope he will change the political scenario of state of Jammu and Kashmir.”(KNB)
