Pulwama, March 27 (KNB) : Eminent Socio-Political activist Inaam un Nabi has castigated forces for thrashing the residents of Tahab village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and vandalism of their properties by the government forces last night.
He said it is shameful to note that how the forces barged into their houses and thrashed the inmates last night after few gunshots were heard near a CRPF camp.
Inam stated -“It is painful that At least a dozen people have sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital for treatment after being thrashed by the government forces at their homes. These atrocities puncture the claims of the State government and army of having zero tolerance against human rights violations. How spring of Kashmir has been bloodied by the state and its forces is a matter of great shame for all those ho are at helm . Tahab like incidents remind us that militarization is making a common Kashmiri pay heavy price.”
Inam hoped that better sense prevails on all the stakeholders so that steps are taken towards resolution and pain and sorrows of Kashmiris are healed.
