Srinagar, July 5(KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a 10-day summer vacation for schools in the Kashmir valley, starting from July 8 to July 18.
According to Principal Secretary Alok Kumar, the decision was made to provide students with a much-needed break during the peak summer season.
Talking to the Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), Kumar confirmed that the summer vacation will commence on July 8 and conclude on July 18, giving students a chance to relax and rejuvenate.
The move is expected to bring relief to students, and parents alike, who have been dealing with the intense summer heat.
The education department has instructed all schools in the Kashmir valley to follow the announced schedule and ensure that the academic session resumes smoothly after the vacation.(KNB)
