Srinagar 8 March:In a major breakthrough, Rajbagh Police station recovered huge stolen property and arrested 4 thieves involved in the case.
With the arrest of notorious thieves which also include one woman, a major interstate nexus of thieves is busted & stolen property worth several lacs were recovered. Arrested theives include namely 1)
Abdul Raheem Khan S/O Rafsardar Khan R/O Narela Rohani New Delhi,2)Noor Alam Sheikh S/O Muzair Ali Sheikh R/O Botmar Golpura Assam 3)Mohd Anees Sheikh S/O Gulam Rasool Sheikh R/ O Hari Singh High street Srinagar & 4)
Zareena Khatoon W/O Mohd Maqbool Khan R/O Barpatta Golpura Assam.
Pertinent to mention here that few days back thefts/burgalaries were reported in Rajbagh area of city and Police cracked a whip after that.
Subsequently FIR No 5/2019 U/S 457,380 RPC was lodged at P/S Rajbagh.
The arrests were made by SHO Rajbagh Parvaiz Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Sadder Shabir Khan.
People of the area have appreciated the efforts of Srinagar Police in solving the theft/burgalary cases so promptly & professionally.
