Srinagar 30 Jan: In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse under the command of SSP Srinagar Dr.Haseeb Mughal JKPS, Srinagar police continues its war aganist drugs.
Police Station parimpora Srinagar during naka checking at parimpora held two drug peddlers namely Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat @Yatri S/o Mohd Sultan and Shamim Ahmad @Shama S/o Mohd Jamaal Mir both residents of Ajas Bandipora with 50 bottles of codine phoshate .
The duo are known drug peddlers and are instrumental in drug peddling among the youth in the areas of Bandipora and Srinagar.Both the peddlers were arrested on spot alongwith the Narcotic drugs.
In this connection a case FIR No. 13/2020 U/S 8/21NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Parimpora and further investigation is going on .
The Srinagar Police will continue its offensive against the drug peddlers/Dealers in order to save the young generation from the menace of drug addiction.
