Sopore police solves burglary case; Accused arrested, Stolen property worth lakhs recovered

Baramulla July 24(KNB): Sopore police solved a burglary case by arresting the accused involved in the crime and recovered the stolen property.
Nayeem Ahmad Shah son of Mehraj ud din Shah resident of Dangiwacha approached Police Station Dangiwacha with a written complaint wherein he stated that during intervening night of 12/13 of June 2018 some unknown person/persons broke into his shop and had stolen mobile phones and cash.
On receipt of the complaint, a case FIR number 70/2018 under section 457/380 RPC was registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation, SSP Sopore Mr Javaid Iqbal constituted a special team under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Idrees Ahmad led by SHO Dangiwacha Mr Parvaiz Ahmad. The team zeroed on one suspect namely Javaid Ahmad Ahanger son of Ali Mohammad Ahanger resident of Jodinambal Braman Rafiabad.
On questioning, the suspect confessed that he has committed the crime and on his disclosure 41 mobile phones of different companies and cash of rupees 45,200 was recovered from his house in Jodinambal Braman Panzlla Rafiabad.
Further investigation of the case is going on. More arrests and recoveries are expected.(KNB)
