Sopore, Jan 08(KNB) : A 19-year-old student allegedly committed suicide by jumping in river jehlum at Chankhan area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday for failing the Class XII examination.
As per the reports, she took the extreme step this morning after she failed in class 12th examination.
Meanwhile, she was saved there by some fishermen and was rushed to Sub District hospital Sopore where she is under treatment.
While as, the hospital authorities confirmed this news and identified her as Mariya Bashir daughter of Bashir Ahmad resident of Batpora Sopore.
Pertinently on late last night result for 12th Class for winter zone was declared.(KNB)
