Sopore Attack: Three CRPF troopers killed, 03 Injured



Baramulla 18 April (KNB): Three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops were killed and three were injured in a militant attack in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

According to Kashmir News Bureau reports, militants surfaced at check point Ahad Sahab Bypass in Sopore in the evening and opened fire on a law and order patrol of the CRPF.

“Two Crpf jawan were killed and  a driver was injured in this attack,” Police official told Kashmir News Bureau.

According to reports, another CRPF trooper succumbed to his injuries in Sopore hospital.

The area was cordoned off but the militants managed to escape from the spot.

Pertainenty, on 08 April, CRPF Personnel was killed in a militant attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. (KNB)
