Srinagar 30 November (KNB): Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) conducted demolition of three illegal constructions that were going on at two adjoining places, Hyderpora and Parray’Pora in Srinagar.
Officials of the corporation told Kashmir News Bureau that Enforcement wing of the Corporation along with concerned Enforcement Officer and ward officer, under the supervision of Chief Enforcement Officer went to the sites where illegal constructions were going on.
“All the three illegal structures, one coming up at Hyderpora and two structures at Parray’Pora were pulled down and accordingly the entire exercise was monitored by authorities.” Officials said.
Officials further said that a tight vigil is being kept on constructional activities and the structures, which are being constructed without building permission, or getting deviated from the approved building plan, will face the similar actions.
Citizens have repeatedly been requested to apply for a proper building permission from Competent Authority and not to construct any structure without permission, officials emphasized.
Officials asserted that SMC will continue with the demolition drives with regard to unauthorized construction, and will also ensure that no construction without permission is allowed to take place. (KNB)
