Srinagar 15 May (KNB): Srinagar Municipal Corporation’s Corporator Danish Bhat on Saturday visited Public Health Centre Lalbazar after receiving several complaints regarding Covid-19 vaccine shortage.
Talking to new agency Kashmir News Bureau, Danish Bhat said that he had received several complaints regarding the shortage of vaccines at PHC and made a surprise visit today.
“After hearing out the public complaints, I along with the concerned corporator of the area (LalBazar, Nasir Naikoo, went to the PHC and spoke to the Doctor in-charge as well as the team,” he said.
“The medical officials revealed to us that the vaccination process had been at halt for the past Six days due to the unavailability of vaccines,” he added.
Afterwards, Danish Bhat spoke to the DC Srinagar Aijaz Asad and discussed the issue who assured the matter will be resolved soon.
“He assured me that the vaccination process will be restored at the Public Health Centre Lalbazar at the earliest,” Bhat said. (KNB)
