Srinagar, Dec 5(KNB): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Friday carried out fresh searches at two locations as part of its ongoing investigation into the recently exposed doctors’ terror module, officials said.
According to officials, an SIA team raided the residence of Tufail Ahmad Bhat, son of Niyaz Ahmad Bhat, at Diyarwani Batmaloo in Srinagar. Tufail, an AC technician by trade, was arrested earlier for his alleged role in the module.
In a parallel operation, another raid was conducted in Ganderbal to trace additional links and recover more evidence connected to the case, the officer added.
The search operations were underway till last reports came in, and further details are expected.(KNB)
