Shopian 03 August(KNB): Five Militants have been killed in an encounter with security forces at Killora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district
According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau”four militants were killed today morning; the body of another militant killed last night has been recovered.
The slain militants has been identifed as Umar Malik, a Lashkar-e-Taiba district commander. An AK-47 assault rifle was found with him.
Taking on Twitter Director General of Police SP Vaid writes “4 more bodies of terrorists visible at encounter site kiloora Shopian taking the total to 5 terrorists killed. Good Job boys , good for peace.
Earlier, The security forces cordoned off the area following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in Killora village on Friday evening and started a search operation there.
