Baramulla 1 oct (KNB):A ten days capacity building tour (CBT) is being organised for 20 moulvies and village elders from Rafiabad region of Baramulla District. The tour departed from Rafiabad on 01 oct 18 and will visit Srinagar, Delhi, Ajmer and will return on 10 Oct 18.
The tour is intended to serve as medium for connecting the people and exploring the various infrastructural development, education institutes and witness pluralistic culture. However, the primary objective of the tour is to build a sense of trust, integration & harmony.
The group will visit Hazrat Nizamuddin, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple, modern attractions like Nehru Museum, Planetarium, shopping malls and take a metro rail ride in Delhi. Visit to Ajmer will have more of a traditional feel with visits to Ajmer Sharif, Dargah Bagh, Pushkar Lake, Roopangarh Fort, Taragarh Fort and Anasagar Lake which will give them a chance to amaze themselves with the colours and rich history of Rajasthan.
The tour was flagged off at Watergam on 01 Oct evening by Mr Basarat Mehraaj Shah R/o Dangiwacha in presence of Brig DR Rai, VSM Cdr 7 Sector RR, wishing them a fruitful, safe and comfortable journey.(KNB)
