Srinagar, July 3(KNB): A devastating road accident on 90 Feet Road claimed the life of a policeman on Thursday morning.
The tragic incident occurred when a scooty, ridden by Mohammad Amin Bhat, a Selection Grade Constable, collided with a truck traveling in the opposite direction.
The fatal accident took place early Thursday morning, resulting in critical injuries to Bhat, who was rushed to SKIMS Soura but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased, a resident of Repora Lar, Ganderbal, was posted at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Srinagar and was heading to work when the accident happen.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. (KNB)
