Police founds abducted Hajin man’s body, says Lashkar behind attack

Srinagar, April 03 (KNB): Police on Tuesday recovered the body of youth Muntazir Ah Parrey who was picked last night by suspected Lashkar militants from his in-laws’ home in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

As per the police sources four suspected militants of Lashkar on Monday evening barged into the house of Farooq Ahmad Parrey R/O Par Mohalla Hajin and fired indiscriminately during which the inmates namely Rafeeqa, Neelofar and Hilal Ah Parrey received grievous injuries. The suspected militants also abducted Muntazir Ah Parrey (the son in law of House owner) from there.

It is pertinent to mention here that one son of Farooq namely Muzzafar Ah Parrey @Muzz Nata was killed last year by unknown gunmen, who was first decapitated and then thrown his into the river.

The dead body of the said abducted person Muntazir Ahmad Parrey was later found in the outskirts of Hajin.

The police said that during investigation, it has come to notice that local militant Mohammad Saleem Parrey has played a major role in the killing of the said civilian. Besides five foreign militants affiliated with LeT, Abu Muslim, Hubaib, Khalid, Abu Hamza and Haider are also involved in the killing.

Meanwhile, the injured inmates in the incident have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment. An FIR into the incident has been registered and investigation into the matter set into motion.(KNB)
