Srinagar 08 July(KNB): Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a person who was harassing, stalking, assaulting and giving online rape threats to girls.
In a tweet Srinagar Police said, One Syed Shamoon Hamdani S/o Mohd Ayoub Hamdani R/o Anwar colony Rawalpora Srinagar arrested for harassing, stalking, assault & giving online rape threats to girls. A courageous girl approached with evidence of his wrongdoings. FIR no 58/2023 U/S 354,294,506,509 of IPC in Sadder PS.
Meanwhile, People appreciated the Police for taking such actions.(KNB)
