Pakistan to release IAF Pilot Tomorrow

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that his country will release captured IAF pilot Abhinandhan Vartham on Friday, 1 March.

“As a peace gesture we are releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan tomorrow.” Imran said

Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan is “willing” to return IAF Pilot if it leads to de-escalation between the two countries.

Speaking to Geo News, Qureshi further said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to hold a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

Meanwhile, the Army, Air Force and the Navy are expected to brief the media on the situation at 5:00 pm.
