Over 62% Migrant voting records in Third Phase of Lok Sabha Polls

Udhampur 23 April (KNB): Huge mass of Kashmiri Pandits cast their vote on Tuesday at special polling stations for migrants for Anantnag parliamentary constituency in Udhampur district.




Special polling booths were arranged at Udhampur for Kashmiri migrant pandits where over 70% to 80% pandits cast their vote while only about 13% votes were casted in six polling segments of south Kashmir and this can be a turning point for the upcoming polling results.

Udhampur special polling booths recorded over 70%per cent polling, with GHSS Migrant Jagti A :- 348 (Male 189, Female 159 ) votes polled out of 566 votes, Percentage 61.48%, GHSS Migrant Jagti B :- 348 Votes (Male 191, Female 157) polled out of 645 votes, Percentage 53.95%, GMS Jagti :- 290 Votes (Male 163, Female 127) polled out of 479 votes, Percentage 60.54%

Migrant School Nagrota : 207 Votes (Male 109, Female 98) polled out of 335 votes, Percentage 61.79%,
Community Hall Jagti : 42 Votes (Male 21, Female 21) polled out of 61 votes, Percentage 68.8%.

However, the huge rush of migrant voters can become a landmark for upcoming polling results and can astonish all the political parties as well as common masses.(KNB)
