Srinagar 06 August (KNB): In North Kashmir Bandipora district’s Ajas area, an ambulance went into flames on Friday afternoon when it was moving towards Srinagar with a patient.
As per reports, the ambulance caught fire following the heating up of its engine which resulted in damage to the vehicle. However, the fire was immediately put out after the timely arrival of the fire tenders.
During the incident there was no injury to anyone reported. Both the driver and the patient evacuated safely from the vehicle before the fire was extinguished.
Later, the patient was shifted into another ambulance to reach the hospital in Srinagar. (KNB)
