Omar Abdullah Reacts to Nitish Kumar’s Rajya Sabha Move, Thanks Him for Service to Bihar

Srinagar 05 March(KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, commenting on Nitish Kumar’s announcement to enter the Rajya Sabha, said, “He has been the longest-serving Chief Minister of Bihar, so it was natural that his tenure would eventually come to an end. Of course, this is an internal matter of the Bihar government and its allies.

However, since Nitish Kumar was once our colleague in the INDIA Bloc, his move to the Rajya Sabha just three months after the elections is noteworthy.

“Now that he has taken this decision, we thank him for the service he has rendered to the people of Bihar. We wish him the best and hope that he plays a positive and constructive role in the Rajya Sabha in the future.”
