Srinagar, Dec 1(KNB): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out fresh raids in south Kashmir as part of its ongoing probe into the Delhi blast case.
Officials said the agency conducted searches at the residence of Amir Rashid in Samboora Pampore and Dr. Muzamil in Koil Pulwama. The raids were part of a larger operation covering around 10 locations across the Valley.
Sources said the anti-terror agency is “searching for evidence linked to the ‘white-collar’ module and the Delhi blast,” adding that digital devices, documents, and other materials are being examined.
The NIA has so far arrested six accused in connection with the blast. At least 15 people were killed and several others injured after a high-intensity explosion tore through a vehicle near Delhi’s historic Red Fort on November 10.
Further details about today’s searches are awaited.(KNB)
