Srinagar, March 22(KNB): Netizens on Social networking sites are all praise for the efforts of Srinagar Muncipal Corporation for launching intensive disinfection campaign across Srinagar.

The CoronaVirus disease which is now a global Pandemic is wrecking havoc in all the countries of the world. No continent or country seems to be immune from the threat of the CoronaVirus.
As in the Country the death count has reached four with about 250 cases, and also few days back a CoronaVirus case detected in Kashmir of a lady with travel history the challenges have tunred multifold.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation or the SMC Department has assumed tremendous significance in these tough times to keep city clean.
The SMC Commissioner Gazanfar Ali is faced with tough challenge and he is leading from the front to keep the city clean and safe from major outbreak of the CoronaVirus, an top official in adminstration who is dealing with Coronovirus threat in Kashmir said.
He added that ensuring proper Cleanness, Sanitation Drive in the Srinagar City is one of the main efforts besides ensuring proper Fumigation of vulnerable sites is the focus of combating the Coronovirus threat in which SMC Commissioner is making sure everything happens according to the plan.
Citing the example of recent efforts of SMC in sending a special squad for fugumentation of Khanyar locality within no time after a positive case was detected there.
Netizens are hopeful that brilliant and timely efforts of SMC Commissioner Gazanfar Ali will continue and Kashmir wins fight against CoronaVirus.
