Nephew of Azad among Several other leaders Resign from DPAP

Srinagar 30 April(KNB): In a major setback to DPAP, Mehboob Mustafa Bhat Nephew of Ghulam Nabi Azad among other leaders resigned from the basic membership of the party.

In a resignation letter a copy which lies with news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB Mehboob Bhat said, had hopes on DPAP that new party will put an end to culture of nepotism and stubbornness that has become norm in other Political parties but unfortunately my expectations were not met and situation was far from what I hoped for.

“It is disheartening to say that my colleagues who joined in hundreds on that day were mistreated by some senior hegemons in the party,” he further writes.

Besides, Mehboob Mustafa Bhat other senior leaders Mansoor Magray vice Chairman CivIil society, Aga Syed Mohammad Hussani corporater SMC , Ejaz Yousif, Mohd Faheem Reshi former Sr. Vice President of Shahre-Khas Traders , Syed Akeel Political Activest ,Irfan Ashraf Political activist , Shoaib Ahmad Sr. Trade leader, Showkat Ahmad , Mehraj -ud-din Najar Sr. Leader from Sonawari with his all team Arif Rashid with his all team from Anantnag, Er. Ejaz Bhat, Er. Obed, Er.Mansoor Ahmad Bhat, and hundreds of Political Activists and social activists from other parts of kashmir resigned from the basic membership of party. (KNB)
