Jammu, Feb 05 (KNB): Mubarak Gul , MLA Eidgah and Senior NC Leader has called upon the state government to look for speedy mechanism to tackle the growing number of traffic accidents in entire state of Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed displeasure that nearly thousand people lost their lives in traffic accidents in the state during last year and called upon the transport and road ministry, Chief Minister to ensure more air ambulances are put into place to save precious lives as the state is full of far flung areas .
Talking to KNB correspondent Mubaraq stated – “We have lost large number of lives in Rajouri, Doda and Gool like remote areas and absence of quality roads and health facilities has aggravated the matters. We need effective infra to save lives then only we can move towards betterment.”
Mubarak Gul made special appeal to Chief Minister to save precious lives and ensure road safety and make traffic department accountable in this regard. (KNB)
