“We are verifying the facts and investigation has taken up,”: Police
Budgam 06 August(KNB): A mysterious blast took place in Kralpora Chadoora near residential houses of pandits families in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday morning.
Talking to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB kashmiri pandit Rahul Shamyal said, At about 7 am suddenly an explosion happened with a huge sound, shaken our house, luckily no one was injured
He also said that the station officer visited the spot and told us that we would verify the facts.
When KNB contacted Station house officer Chadoora he said, the mysterious blast occurred as per the locals there and we are verifying the facts.
“We have taken up investigation to get clue regarding the incident.”(KNB)

INCIDENT REPORT
During early morning hours at about 0745 hours some loud sound was heard by inhabitants of Kralpora where some minority families also reside. SSP Budgam along with BDS team visited to incident site. During preliminary investigation it seems that some unexploded old shell in old building material and scrap piled up there might have exploded which have caused the loud sound. No injury reported.
