Srinagar, Dec 24 (KNB): Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) Convenor Saif Khan Baba on Tuesday distributed blankets among patients at the Psychiatric Diseases Hospital in Srinagar as part of the organisation’s humanitarian outreach during the winter season.
The initiative aimed to provide relief and warmth to patients admitted at the hospital amid the prevailing cold conditions. Speaking to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) on the occasion, Saif Khan Baba said that serving the needy is a moral and social responsibility.
“Today we distributed blankets among the patients because it is our duty. In the future as well, we will continue such initiatives,” he said. He added that Muslim Rashtriya Manch works across Jammu and Kashmir with a focus on helping underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society.
Saif Khan Baba further said that the organisation remains committed to public welfare activities and urged people in need to reach out for assistance. “Our organisation works all over J&K and we stand for the needy people. If anybody needs our help, they can contact us,” he said.
Hospital staff and beneficiaries appreciated the gesture, terming it a welcome step towards supporting patients during harsh winter conditions.(KNB)
